That said, while the burrs appear sharp from the outside and ground coffee OK, I do not know how much life they have left in them. I dusted the machine off a bit for the photos but there's still some dust and old coffee in there, clean before use.
The machine has a couple issues to be aware of. The plastic lid over the hopper for ground coffee is missing - see photos. Seems easily replaceable, if necessary at all. The base of the machine is a molded plastic component which has long tubes containing screws that connect to the machine's body, with screw heads just under the unit's rubber feet.
The two plastic tubes in the front have broken off from the rest of the plastic base, which means the screws no longer hold this part of the base to the machine. As a result, the base is loose on the front side. It still is connected on the rear, the base doesn't come off, but the machine can be kind of wobbly if a lot of force is applied.
It doesn't seem too bad for regular use and doesn't affect machine operation, but I can see this being annoying in a busy commercial setting. This could be fixed by replacing the plastic base, possibly gluing the component back together, or otherwise securing the base. This is an exceptional quality grinder, too nice to just sit in storage.
